The creators of Zoom have just released an update, available for Windows users, Mac and iOS, which brings several novelties. One of them is the incorporation of fun animal avatars that you can use in your virtual classes or work meetings. How are they activated? Here we will tell you.
“Video communication is a modern marvel, but creating those spontaneous, magical moments that make in-person interactions so special can be difficult in a virtual environment. That’s why we’re excited to announce our latest feature, Avatars!” the company said in a statement.
YOU CAN SEE: WhatsApp: do you want to send audios with the voice of Darth Vader and without downloading strange apps?
According to the publication, this novel function is available in Zoom Meetings and Zoom Webinar. What it does is replace the user’s head with the appearance of their favorite animal and when that person moves their head or makes various facial expressions, the avatar will also do the same.
“They also provide a good middle ground for users who don’t want to appear on camera, but still want to express body language and facial expressions,” Zoom adds on its official blog. At the moment, the only available avatars are of animals, something that could change in the future.
