How to put a password to your WhatsApp Web account?
Although the web version of the instant messaging app doesn’t have such an option, all you have to do is download a web extension to add a password. Follow these steps:
- Open the browser and download the WA Web Plus for WhatsApp extension. If you use Google Chrome, rave or any other you can do it from here.
- Then, enter WhatsApp Web and click on the WA Web Plus extension icon
- Now, click on the extension again to display the options menu
- Finally, select Enable lock screen [Set Password] and type the password to protect your WhatsApp Web account.
Once you have completed this entire procedure, every time you enter WhatsApp Web, the platform will ask you to enter the password. If you want to change or delete it, you just have to go to the WA Web Plus menu and select Set Password.
