Carl Pei, founder of OnePlus, left his own company in 2020 to create another called Nothing, which recently launched its first product: transparent headphones. Thanks to the good reception that this device has had, the Chinese company announced that it will soon present its own smartphone.

Another confirmed feature of Nothing’s upcoming smartphone is that it will have its own version of Android. This operating system will be called Nothing OS and promises to be very intuitive for the user.
In the presentation, Carl Pei showed several screenshots that allow us to have a look at the interface of Nothing OS. As you can see in the image, this operating system is quite similar to pure Android, but with certain features added by the company.
As detailed by the founder of Nothing, this software has a very intuitive interface, as far as the user experience is concerned, it will be fast, fluid and personal. Finally, he explained that the company will provide three years of system updates and four years of security updates.
At the moment, it only remains to be hoped that in the coming weeks more details about the specifications that this phone will have will begin to be revealed. What Carl Pei did promise is that they will soon publish a launcher that Android users can download and thus have a preview of Nothing OS.
