Possibly, mosquitoes are one of the great disadvantages of when summer arrives, because we have to think of all kinds of remedies to get as far away from them as possible. Fortunately, technology is no stranger to these kinds of everyday problems. In this sense, the company Thermacell has just released a mosquito repellent with a new smart system that can be connected to the Google Assistant.
Is about “Liv”, a connected mosquito repellent system that works on demand with the Google Assistant and Alexa, and can keep pesky bugs away in a space of around 87 square meters.
Thermacell is well known for its repellant systems, with older portable versions using the same basic technology as this new model. Additionally, it is designed to be installed semi-permanently and uses a solution that contains metofluthrina synthetic molecule that is modeled after chrysanthemum flowers and a natural repellent that they emit.

The system works through a hub that is attached to an outside outlet, which connects to Wifi to accept commands from the Google Assistant, Alexa, or an app on your phone. It takes 15-30 minutes to repel mosquitoes, which is where the virtual assistant could certainly come in handy.
“Liv” consists of three repellents and a hub that is responsible for connecting to the google voice assistant. The kit costs $699. This curious intelligent system, for the moment, is only available in United States and Canada.
