Step by step to avoid the forwarded tag
This WhatsApp trick is very simple. It basically consists of using an alternative route. If we cannot use the forward function, we will use another similar one: share. We just have to follow these steps:
- Open WhatsApp from your phone and go to the chat where the message or file is located.
- Hold down on the message for one second.
- An options menu will open at the top of the screen, select the three vertical dots icon.
- Now choose the option that says share.
- Select WhatsApp and then the contact you want to forward the message to.
- Click on the send icon and you’re done. Your message will have been forwarded, but without the tag.
However, to use this little trick on links and text messages, the procedure will be as follows:
- Open WhatsApp from your phone and go to the chat where the message or file is located.
- Hold down on the message for one second.
