A group of scientists from Carnegie Mellon University, located in Pennsylvania, in the United States, has just developed a very interesting application that allows smartphone users to control their devices using their eyes. How is that possible? Here we tell you.

What does it consist of?
As Andro4all details, the EyeMU application does not require special cell phones, so it can be used on any current device. To work, the only requirements, in terms of hardware, are a front camera, Google’s Face Mesh system and algorithms that predict the user’s eye movements.
According to the publication, the current version of EyeMU (which is still under development) already allows a person to use their eyes for various functions such as viewing notifications, returning to recently opened applications or looking at images stored in the phone’s gallery.
