1. Take advantage of the ReadyBoost feature
This option allows you to use a removable drive, such as a USB flash drive or SD card, to improve your computer’s performance without the need to modify its internal components or add more RAM.
The only requirement to access this functionality is that the device to be used has at least 500 MB of free space and a high data transfer speed. To get started, insert the card or USB into your computer and go to the File Browser.
Next, right click on the name of the flash drive and select Properties. Then go to the tab ReadyBoost and choose the option use this device. After Windows calculates how much free space to use to optimize memory, select To accept.

2. Close background apps

3. Disable autostart programs

5. Change the power plan
Managing your computer’s power options not only allows you to determine what your power usage will be, but also makes it possible to optimize system performance. Therefore, activating a low consumption plan will reduce the use of resources.
To make changes to your device’s power mode, go to Start > Setting > System > power and battery. Once there, choose one of the following options: best power efficiency, maximum performance or balanced.
