A few days ago, Apple released iOS 15.4, an update to its operating system that brings many new features to Apple users. In addition to patches that correct some vulnerabilities, those from Cupertino added an option that allows you to unlock the iPhone, through Face ID, even if you are wearing a mask.
As detailed by Computer Hoy, a portal specialized in technology, since Apple released the long-awaited update, many apple users have begun to download this new version of iOS on their devices, without imagining that some would begin to have autonomy problems.

According to the publication, the update would be causing the battery to last less than usual. “iOS 15.4 drains the battery in an incredible way. I would say my battery life today is half of what it was last week,” user Alex Kretzschmar notes on his Twitter account.
iOS 15.4 has mad battery drain. I’d say my battery life today is half what it was last week. Shocking!

Another Twitter user named Maxim Shishko, for his part, stated the following: “The battery life of iOS 15.4 is really bad. After 24 hours, it (lasts) less than 80%, but the screen hasn’t been active for more than two hours and I only use Safari, YouTube, Instagram and Uber.”

Oded Shopen also used his account on the aforementioned social network to express problems with the autonomy of his device (one of Apple’s most expensive). “iOS 15.4 is draining my iPhone 13 Pro Max battery. It could go days without charging, but by noon it is down to half capacity,” he stated.
