According to Genbeta, a portal specialized in technology, the person who carried out this work is called Matt Pettit, who recreated the 530 icons of Windows XP in high definition. The pack published by this DevianArt user also includes the icons of Whistler, the preliminary version of this software.
According to the publication, the project was born in January 2019 and the icons have a fairly high resolution (1,024 x 1,024). Although the package does not include Microsoft Office 2003 styles, the author assured that he plans to add them in the future, since this software was widely used at that time.
