If you’ve ever used Windows on an unlicensed machine, you’ve probably noticed the annoying and familiar watermark “activate windows” at the bottom right of the screen. This prompt has gained some fame among computer users because there is almost no way to disable it completely. Well, now Windows 11 will have its own version, but for an even more unusual reason.
If you have closely followed the evolution of Windows 11 since it was released in 2021, you will recognize that there is a lot of controversy over system compatibility.
In the beginning, microsoft pointed out certain very precise hardware specifications to support its new OS. However, the confusion was such that the company itself decided to work to further expand its compatibility.

“Requirements not met”: The Windows 11 watermark
The Ars Technica portal collects that the watermark “requirements are not met” first appeared in February, only in the beta version of the system. Now, members of the Microsoft Insider channel can see it for the first time, which indicates that it will arrive in the official version in a short time.
The watermark is very similar to the “Activate Windows” in Windows 10. Its function will be to notify users of computers with processors prior to the eighth generation Intel Core and AMD with Zen 2 architecture (2019) that they must update their hardware if they wish to continue using Windows 11.
can be removed
Of course this watermark It doesn’t differ much from its Windows 10 pair and there is already a method, through the registry editor, to eliminate it. You just have to navigate to this path:
