As a consequence of Russia’s attacks on Ukraine, hundreds of Ukrainians have been victims of physical damage and massive losses. That is why a large number of brands around the world have spoken out against the invasion and have collaborated with humanitarian aid or prohibitions within Russia, in order to pressure their government to end the conflict. Epic Games, for its part, has not been immune to this situation and has opted for a measure that has surprised many users and that could undoubtedly save many lives.
It is an initiative of the video game company that consists of donating all the profits from Fortnite, obtained from March 20, 2022 to April 3, 2022, as humanitarian aid for people affected by the war in Ukraine.
As if that were not enough, Xbox has also joined the collaboration and has announced that it will allocate its net profits from Fortnite, achieved during the same period, to add and make the support bigger.

The main purpose of the company is to be able to provide emergency aid, which includes medical care, food, clean water, essential supplies, shelter and legal assistance.
As explained by Epic Games through a statement on its official website, it is expected that in the coming weeks more organizations will join the list and thus increase collaborations.
So far (March 21), Fortnite has already raised a total of 36 million dollars that will be used to help those affected.
